INTRODUCTION AND LEARNING OBJECTIVES
In Part 1 you learned that collaborative adaptive management (CAM) is a natural resource management process that increases the efficiency and effectiveness of conservation actions. In this section, you will learn about information management
and delivery (IMD) and how it can support participants in CAM as they make critical decisions at each stage of the CAM process.
By the end of the lesson you will know the following:
- The importance of informed decisions during the CAM process
- The definition and components of information and its relevance to decisions
made during the CAM process
- The value of IMD for making informed decisions
- The opportunity technology provides for IMD
This lesson will take 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
