This foundational training will introduce gender and gender-based violence, how it relates to our conservation work and ways to respond appropriately.
Gender-based violence (GBV) refers to harmful threats or actions directed at an individual or group based on their gender. GBV can include physical, psychological, sexual, economic, legal, political and social harm, as well as other forms of harm, abuse and control. GBV can impact people of all gender identities, including some men.
