This course is designed to provide coral reef managers and conservation practitioners with guidance on key considerations that should be made throughout the management cycle of a MPA, MPA Network, or other effective conservation measures (OECMs) to increase the efficacy and progress towards conservation goals for protected areas. Lessons provide background information and critical resources on management effectiveness as well as guiding questions to assist managers in applying lesson concepts to their local contexts.
